Job Description

Our client manufactures metal stamped parts and components for the appliance and automotive industries.  Reporting to the Director of Manufacturing, the Site Manager is responsible for plant/site operations across multiple shifts.  The Site Manager is a direct leader and mentor of plant production management.  This is a hands-on position that is highly visible to all employees and is essential in creating and executing plans that are critical. 


  • Drive process and culture to achieve results in the six Fundamentals of Manufacturing (Quality, Deliver, Effectiveness, Safety, Waste Elimination and Housekeeping)
  • Provide leadership for employee relations through effective communications, coaching, training and development and problem resolution.
  • Lead a safety program to ensure all people are trained, operations are as safe as possible and all policies and procedures are adequate and being followed. 
  • Develop process controls that ensure that quality issues are corrected permanently.
  • Ensure proper staffing levels and develop staffing plans to meet production levels.
  • Participate as a key member of the new product implementation team that introduces new products effectively and efficiently into our current environment.
  • Coordinate with Design Engineers and oversee local team during new product launch programs. 

Job Requirements

  • BS or BA in Operations Management, Business Administration, Management Engineering or other related field is required. 
  • Minimum of eight years manufacturing experience with three to five years of front-line supervision, with a management level between them and hourly associates preferably in the Powder Coat, High Volume Production, Automotive or Appliance Industry.
  • Team building, takes ownership, proactively and constructively confronts issues, effectively communicates expectations, delegates in effect manner, adaptable to change.
