Job Description

The BGIS Data Center Automation team is seeking a Technical Product Manager for a key client to drive new product and technology development initiatives enabling continuous innovation within their data center infrastructure footprint. 

We are seeking a highly motivated individual to drive large scale product, program, and technical initiatives that enhance reliability, scalability, and efficiency of our data center operations. You will drive continuous advancements and improvements within our portfolio and communicate direction to developers and management. This job will require exceptional communication and interpersonal skills with business, operations, and technical stakeholders, while having the ability to work independently in a business-critical environment with all levels of leadership.

What you will do:

  1. Lead complex and diverse digital transformation, automation, analytics, and ServiceNow development projects involving a cross-functional set of stakeholders and teams to identify and deliver solutions that provide customer and business value.
  2. This includes requirements, design, development, testing, training, and implementation support.
  3. Collect and interpret complex data and conduct in-depth business analysis to build organizational recommendations on improvements and program innovation
  4. Data management, in-depth analysis, and general familiarity with coding requirements and capabilities is a core capability to this role.
  5. Serve as an application co-administrator and support resource to data center operations and other teams
  6. Perform UAT for bi-weekly releases and annual system upgrades
  7. Design system integrations and work with system owners, business partners and technical teams, including offshore for smooth implementation.
  8. Collaborate and build executive-level presentations on program metrics and key projects

What you will bring:

  1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science, engineering, business, or related technical field
  2. 5+ years of experience in software development projects, or other applicable experience
  3. Knowledgeable in mobile technologies, data analytics, web technologies, artificial intelligence, big data, API and cloud technologies.
  4. 3+ years’ experience working with enterprise business intelligence applications (Tableau, MS Power BI)

Desired Experience:

  1. Experience with Agile Scrum software development methodology
  2. ServiceNow Admin (CSA) certified
  3. ServiceNow Developer (CAD) certified
  4. CMDB admin and/or development experience
  5. 2+ years in Jupyter (IPython) notebooks
