About the position:

This position reports directly to the President of the Good Samaritan College of Nursing and Health Science. This position is the academic allied health and general education officer of the college and is responsible for the college in the absence of the President. The Dean of Allied Health has responsibility for all educational allied health activities and allied health academic programs. This position directs the allied health and general education faculty in planning, evaluating and revising the respective educational programs; monitors, evaluates, and continuously improves processes, programs and services that integrate strategic activities into both long-range planning and day-to-day operations; and also holds the rank of Assistant Professor, Associate Professor or Professor at Good Samaritan College consistent with their education and experience and shall teach in their respective discipline. Actively supports an outcomes-based learning centered culture through continued professional development for improvement of self and the college in keeping with the College’s learning-centered values and goals.

Minimum Requirements:

   - Education: Doctorate Degree and Master's Degree - Allied Health Discipline (required)

   - Experience: 5-7 years Progressive Leadership in Higher Education.  5-7 years of management experience in related field (Education, Higher Education, Adult Education, Allied Health or Leadership).
